Organic Bedding

Mattress Demonstration.  The building of an organic wool/natural latex mattress and box support.  No Amish craftspeople appear in pictures, as is their preference.  Only "English" are pictured in production areas.

This mattress is approximately 7.5 inches thick, with a 6 inch latex core and quilted cover.  The mattress being built is naturally anti-microbial, resistant to mold, mildew and dust mites and can last up to 30 years.

This mattress and box support are built right before your eyes.  You are also welcome to visit the Ohio facility and watch your mattress being made (let us know at customerservice@kushtush.com, prior to production, and we will provide location details and arrange an appointment.)  Do note the simplicity and cleanliness of the production room.

The bottom is quilted and sewn to a quilted side border. The latex core is then placed inside which is quite heavy!   Note the holes in the latex to allow for breathing and flexibility. (Please remember there are NO Amish craftspeople in any of these photos. One of the owners is pictured.)  

Organic cotton batting is quilted to all natural wool, in a removable zippered cover for ease of cleaning.

Again, you can see the zippered cover for this mattress. It is removable, and can be aired out and spot cleaned, or dry cleaned (in a chemical free process, please).
